I Make It A Priority To Go Sit Outside For One Hour Every Day, I Encourage You To Do The Same

It's a known fact that we all spend too much time inside. The most outdoor experience that many of us get on a day-to-day basis is usually walking to and from work, class, or our cars. We know it's not healthy, yet we still do it because it's a habit.
Here's something I've realized from taking an hour to just sit outside everyday.
I instantly feel a weight lift off of my shoulders.
Whether it's an academic weight, social weight, or just a huge amount of stress being lifted, it all disappears for an hour or so.

Fresh air also helps clear my mind.
If I take an hour and sit in the middle of my college campus/outside a coffee shop and people watch, everything I was originally stressed about just pauses for a moment. I can worry about that all later, now is the time that I have put aside for me and only me.
I don't do anything in particular during this hour. I might reply to some emails, listen to music, get coffee etc. Ultimately I just sit there and people watch usually. Nothing in particular, just let whatever happens happen.
Now I'm based in Florida, I know that sitting outside in the heat and humidity in the coming months is going to become a task (already at times it is!), but I'm going to persevere and make sure I sit outside for about an hour each day.
If you're going to do this too (which I encourage that you do) then try to find a place that fits you best, whether you like sitting watching lots of people traffic, whether you need a quiet and serene location, or whether you just need to be a mile or ten away from where you spend the majority of your days.
I can't express how much this addition to my daily routine has helped me relax everyday and manage my stress more evenly every day.
Try it for yourself! I promise it well help you daily!
