Galentine's Day, The Right Way

First of all, thank you Leslie Knope.

Thank you for giving us ladies the opportunity to celebrate ourselves, the day before we divide into the world's of those who are single and those who are in a relationship.

Second of all, what's Galentine's Day?

This year was my first Galentine's Day celebration and I definitely spent it in a way that Miss Leslie Knope would be proud of!

Potluck breakfast for dinner? You had me at breakfast.

Pancakes upon pancakes. Chocolate strawberries upon chocolate strawberries. Such an array that who doesn't love stuffing themselves with pancakes and strawberries on the one day of the month that it's easily justified?

Now I like to dress up for an evening, however, I love to wear my pyjamas for an evening a little bit more. There's just something so right about it!

Cringe-worthy and/or classic girly movies are a must!

Nothing beats the Hoedown Throwdown from the Hannah Montana Movie with some of your best gal pals, am I right?

Meme games. You can't go wrong!

Nowadays, who doesn't love memes or know every meme to ever exist? Also, who doesn't love a classic card game. Combine the two and you have your Galentine's off to a great start!

And of course, a cute wall to take pictures in front of!

All in all, I think Leslie would be proud of the Galentine's Day I had. It's definitely now a staple in my annual holiday routine.

Honestly, who doesn't love celebrating single life and femininity? Even more important, who doesn't love breakfast for dinner? There's no better way to celebrate the honorary single ladies day than with a good old slumber party with breakfast food!

(Maybe one day I'll celebrate Valentine's Day too!)
